The Innaugural Post

Welcome to my blog… I don’t know what it will be ‘about’ yet. I’m sure to have some political rants, but that’s not my intended focus. Guess I just need a place to vent sometimes.
Because I wanted to retain design and database control as well as insuring that my copyright remains in-tact, I’ve set up my own site, as opposed to using the ready made variety.
Lucky for me the good folks at WordPress have this neat blogging package for the incredible price of… FREE. Between that and the FREE database management tool from phpMyAdmin, there wasn’t much I had to do except install it all on the server. 
I’m not a geek… I’m only a geek to those less geeky… but I suppose that’s true of everyone… isn’t it?
